The above, from Scribemedia, briefly explains some of the thinking that went into the One Laptop Per Child computer. Though designed for children in developing countries, it got me thinking whether it would have any practical or pedagogical uses for students in higher education in developed countries. I think it's time to buy one! Well, got to have two to test the OLPC networking...
